Surrey Heath Borough Council will join the nation in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Thursday, 8 May 2025.

Camberley town centre received £1,480,300 in September 2024 from HM Government through the Brownfield Land Release Fund (BLRF2), part of the One Public Estate Programme.  This funding will support a new residential development on the London Road site, located next to the A30 in the heart of Camberley.

Council Leader Cllr Shaun Macdonald has joined forces with over 38 other local leaders and campaign groups to call on the government for urgent reforms to gambling laws.

Surrey Heath Borough Council has taken another significant step on the road to net zero by introducing photovoltaic solar panels at Places Leisure Camberley, the borough’s flagship leisure centre. 

At its upcoming meeting on 8 April, the Surrey Heath Borough Council Executive will consider plans for essential resurfacing works to improve the car park and access road at Frimley Lodge Park. 

Great news for young people in Surrey Heath.  Funding for The Workshop has been secured until 31 March 2026 from the Department of Work and Pensions Flexible Support Fund.
