Information about historic parks and gardens in Surrey Heath.
The Historic England 'Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of special historic interest in England' was established in 1983. It currently identifies over 1600 sites of national importance. We have a duty to care towards our historic parks and gardens as they are a fragile and finite resource.
Inclusion on the register means that planning authorities must consider the impact of any proposed development on the landscapes' special character.

There are two registered parks in Surrey Heath. These are Frimley Park and Bagshot Park.
