Please be advised that pre-application fees have increased for 2025/26. These new charges will apply to any enquiry received on or after 10 April 2025.
How to apply
You can apply online by using the Planning Portal.

It is highly advisable that you apply online by using the Planning Portal (external link).
This is how the majority of planning applications are submitted. Here you can complete an online form and pay for your application.
Submit your application by email or post
From 1 April 2024, any applications submitted by email or postal incur an additional charge of £50 (email) or £100 (post).
Forms can be downloaded for most application types on the Planning Portal (external link).
