Following changes to the boundary of the Surrey Heath Parliamentary Constituency, at the upcoming General Election on 4 July 2024 the constituency no longer includes Ash, Ash Vale, Ash Green and Tongham, but has gained Normandy and Pirbright.

These changes are a result of the 2023 Review conducted by the Boundary Commission for England.

Electors will receive poll cards with their polling details and the necessary contact details for any enquiries prior to polling day.

Upcoming deadlines for the General Election ahead of polling day on 4 July 2024 include:

  • Applying for a postal vote: 5pm - Wednesday, 19 June 2024
  • Applying for a proxy vote: 5pm - Wednesday, 26 June 2024
  • Applying for a free Voter Authority Certificate: 5pm - Wednesday, 26 June 2024

Completed postal votes need to be returned to the Acting Returning Officer by 10pm on 4 July 2024 so please put them in the post as soon as possible. You can also hand your completed postal vote into the council offices at Surrey Heath House, Knoll Road, Camberley GU15 3HD or at any polling station in the constituency on polling day, but you must complete the form that staff will provide at these locations, otherwise it will be rejected.

Please do not leave postal votes in the council letter box as unfortunately they will not be accepted.

If you vote at a polling station you will need to present photo ID – you can find a list of accepted documents on the Electoral Commission website
