Does your charity or community group need financial support?

The Ward Councillor Grant Scheme is now open for applications from eligible local charities and community groups.

Each Ward Councillor has a fund of £1,500 from which grants of up to £500 can be made. You can contact your Councillor directly to talk to them about your needs and then make an application on the Council’s website.

Cllr Lisa Finan-Cooke, Portfolio Holder for Inclusion and Housing said:

"I’m delighted that Ward Councillors will be able to offer small grants to deserving local causes.  If you are part of a constituted group that could put some extra funding to good use, please let your Ward Councillor know.

We want to do all we can to support the fantastic work, taking place across Surrey Heath, to support residents from all walks of life.

There are so many organisations in our borough that do a wonderful job supporting our communities and we are really looking forward to seeing the difference our Ward Councillor grants will make."
