Surrey Heath Borough Council (SHBC) has successfully maintained full occupancy for all its industrial properties save for one unit which is currently vacant, although letting terms have now been agreed.

This follows a major letting at Theta, Frimley Road an office building of part first floor following refurbishment and now occupied by Surrey Heath Community Providers Limited.

These lettings are also supported by a strong occupancy rate at The Square Shopping Centre in Camberley, which is also owned by SHBC.

Councillor Kel Finan-Cooke, Portfolio Holder for Economic and Income Development, SHBC said;

“These leases are a strong indicator of Surrey Heath’s achievement in attracting successful businesses.  The borough has excellent connections to London and Heathrow, a well-educated resident population and strong digital connectivity, all of which help to enable commercial success.

SHBC’s property and economic development teams work closely with businesses in the area to provide support and guidance when needed, organise events and networking opportunities and help to connect residents with employment opportunities.  We look forward to continuing to work with and support our businesses and continue to attract more successful enterprises to Surrey Heath.”
