All are welcome to join us as we raise the Intersex Progress Pride flag outside Surrey Heath House on Monday 4 September 2023 at 5pm.
This annual event celebrates Surrey Heath’s diversity and individuality across the Borough and shows support for our LGBTQ+ Community.
Councillor Lisa Finan-Cooke, Portfolio Holder for Inclusion and Housing said;
“This is such an important event for our borough and I’m very much looking forward to seeing the Intersex Progress Pride flag flying at Surrey Heath Borough Council.
Over the years we have seen such a positive change in the celebration and acceptance of diversity and inclusion supporting our LGBTQ+ community and allies.
As a council we aim to support all our residents to live happy fulfilling lives and give you the freedom to live and love authentically. It is so meaningful for members of the LGBTQ+ community so see that flag proudly flying. Please join us to celebrate this wonderful event – I look forward to meeting you then.”
Pride in Surrey Main Event, 9 September, Priory Park, Reigate
Join the Pride in Surrey Event on 9 September in Reigate. There will be a march through the town centre together as one community before the spectacular main event in Priory Park.
