Council Tax counter - important information
The Council Tax counter will be closed on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 22 October and the phone lines will be unavailable until 2pm due to staff training. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Tell us about a change
If your circumstances change, you must inform us as soon as possible.
If your circumstances change, you must tell us. If you fail to tell us about a change or give false information, you may be liable for prosecution.
Examples of changes:
- if you move house
- if anyone moves in or out of your home
- change of name
- abereavement of any person registered at your address
- changing the way you pay us
- changes to exemptions and discounts

You can tell us about a change online using our Council Tax Options system.
