Frimley Park: New Hospital Project
Patients, local people, and Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust staff are being asked what’s most important to them when choosing the site for the state-of-the-art replacement for Frimley Park Hospital. Frimley Park Hospital needs to be replaced because it was built in the 1970s using Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC), which makes up around 65 per cent of the current building.
The new hospital, which cannot be rebuilt on the same site, will be funded by the government’s New Hospital Programme and open by 2030, transforming local healthcare.

January on-street electric vehicle chargepoint installation
Surrey County Council (SCC) are working with Connected Kerb to install electric vehicle chargepoints across Surrey. There are four proposed chargepoints in Surrey Heath.
- Berkshire Road, Old Dean
- Farm Road, Frimley
- Middlemoor Road, Frimley
- Worsley Road, Frimley
Chargepoints will be installed in phases at convenient on-street locations in residential areas and key locations in the community such as on high streets and public car parks, near you.
SCC and Connected Kerb have selected locations to install EV chargepoints either because someone has requested one in a certain area, or because an area has been identified as not having current nearby access to public chargepoints, along with being an area with a number of residential properties with no access to off-street parking, or a community focal point with high usage and convenience for people to charge their EVs.
Have your say before 3 March 2025.
