Surrey Heath Borough Council are delighted to announce that they have awarded Sodexo the Grounds Maintenance contract for the Borough.
The new five-year contract starts on 1 February 2019.
It will cover all SHBC-owned and maintained parks and greenspaces, including sports pitches and bowling greens, along with highway verges.
Services to be provided by Sodexo will include play area inspection and maintenance, public toilet cleaning, tree surveying and arboricultural works.
Surrey Heath Portfolio Holder for Places and Strategy, Cllr Craig Fennell, said: “We are pleased to welcome Sodexo as a partner in Surrey Heath.
“This new contract offers a reduction in the cost of the service, while providing significantly better value for money.
“We look forward to working with Sodexo in the new year.”
