Local Charity Enabling Fund

What is the Local Charity Enabling Fund?

The Council has launched this fund to help smaller charitable organisations affected by the impact of Covid-19. Grants of up to £3,000 will help them to continue to deliver much needed support to our communities.

This scheme is aimed at those locally based charities who have either continued to operate or their operations were restricted due to being locked down. This scheme is designed to help the small not-for-profit organisations that have struggled during the past year and who deliver services within Surrey Heath. Please describe how this grant will improve the situation for your organisation and crucially how it will benefit the community.

It is intended to be a quick response fund, and we aim to make payments to successful organisations within a maximum of 28 days from the date of the application. One application per registered not-for-profit organisation. Please ensure that you provide a copy of your last bank statement and audited accounts for the past year.

When can I apply?

This scheme will be open until 31 March 2022, or until funding is exhausted.
